Jacob, diagnosed with a rare bone cancer at 11 in 2019, faced 14 rounds of chemotherapy and two major surgeries, including an above-knee amputation in January 2020. Now almost 18 years old and 5 1/2 years cancer-free, he is an aspiring sports broadcaster, motivational speaker and host of The Motivational Mic podcast.
